This is my first day of blogging about my low carb diet that I started only yesterday. Hopefully my blogs will get better and more interesting over time.
For today I will just give you some information about myself. I am 55 years old, 5'6" tall, and I weigh 200 lbs. I am trying to keep my carbs at 20 or less. I am tracking what I eat on MyFitnessPal.com. I'm kind of watching calories but if I go over on calories I'm not going to worry about it. I like to have a drink or two at night after work and I'm not going to give that up - at least not right now. I have switched from Chardonnay to Vodka (which I mix with some Pellegrino with a twist of lime). Maybe I'll have a couple of drinks one night and blog. :-)
I've been through a lot over the last 1-2 years which led to my weight gain of over 30 lbs. I'll get into that later.
